What is the Young Family Ministry?

We believe that children are God’s amazing gifts. God has called parents to raise their children in the instructions of the Lord (Deut. 6:4–9; Eph. 6:4; Psalm 78:4; Prov. 22:6). At the same time, we acknowledge the challenges that young parents are facing in nurturing their children.

Therefore, this ministry of CrossCulture aims to empower parents to be the primary disciple-makers of their children.

How do we achieve our aim?

We hope to achieve our aim by educating, encouraging, and equipping.

  • We educate by making it clear to the whole church what it means for parents to be the primary disciple-makers of their children.
  • We encourage you in your spiritual and parenting journey by connecting you with other young parents and mature couples who can mentor you.
  • We equip you by providing relevant training and resources as you disciple your children.

How ‘young’ is ‘young family’?

If you are expecting or if you have any children of the primary school age and below, we’d love to connect with you and to encourage you in your journey as young parents.

How do I join the community?

The best place to start is by joining one of the many life groups that cater to young families. We can also help connect you with other young parents in your area. Why don’t you send us an email? We’d love to speak with you.
