We have all been affected by the Covid-19 lockdown. Working from home, limited supplies in shops and not being able to meet our loved ones. These are strange and difficult times. But because of circumstances, some are finding it much harder than most.
We are now on Facebook to cheer you (and Melbourne) up!
How can we help you?
Our church community is here to help.
Starting Sunday 17 May, between 1-3pm, our Chapel will be open to help! We are located across from the State Library on 333 Swanston Street (corner of Lt. Lonsdale).
We want to do what we can to help you in this time of need. There will be frozen cooked meals and essential items for you to take, as well as people to talk with. So, if you need support, please come to CrossCulture on Sunday afternoons. If you know anyone in need, please let them know and help us spread the word.
How can you help?
Thank you for your generosity. Here are ways you can help:
Drop-off your donations
You can help by donating essential food and household items. Drop-off your donations on Sundays between 1-3pm at the Chapel.

Thanks for your generous donations. We currently have enough of the following items: bread, soup powder, large fruit juice and canned drinks (updated 17 June 2020).
Contribute your time
Do you want to get involved? You will be a part of something meaningful as you help people who are in need… and have fun at the same time! You can also do this with your life group.
There are many things you can do: building connection, distributing food, re-shelving and many more (you can even suggest to us how you’d like to contribute)! Interested? Email us today.
Calling all sewers! If you would like a way to help others, why not make masks? We will distribute masks to those in need. You can download this PDF instruction from the Victorian Government, or watch a video on how to make one. Drop-off masks at the church office (when open) or on Sundays between 1-3pm. You can also just mail them in.
Spread the word
If you know someone who needs assistance, let them know about us. If they are unable to come on Sundays, you can help with pick-up and delivery on their behalf.
Your donations will be used to purchase essential items and cook meals for those in need. If you wish to donate money, you can give to Assist via PayPal.
