What is English Corner?

English Corner offers conversational English lessons for adults in the city of Melbourne. We provide a great opportunity for people from all over the world to practice your English while meeting new friends here in Melbourne. We also organise fun activities, so come and join us!

Who are we?

We are a group of more than 20 volunteers who want to meet you and welcome you to Melbourne. We also organise through Meetup.

Who is English Corner for?

We host weekly English Corner programs with more than 80 participants joining us each week. These include young people on working-holiday visas, visitors, temporary and permanent residents. Adults over the age of 17 are welcome to come and learn.

How do I join?

It is possible to join at any session throughout the year. It only costs a one-time donation of $2.00 that you pay when you first register. This registration fee covers the printing and administration to keep us going!
